| East Glos Club - Privacy Policy
Membership Database
(1) Details of all members are stored in a central database on club premises. This database contains information pertaining to your membership of East Glos and includes contact details, date of birth (if provided), family members, category, subscription rate and date of joining.
(2) The above database is also used as part of the online booking system with certain data visible to other members.
(ii) The data shown on this system is: Name, email address, home, work and mobile telephone numbers and current bookings.
(iii) If you require your email address and phone numbers not to be displayed on the online booking system you can request this via the club office here.
(iii) If you wish to use the system to book courts or look up other members' details it is not possible to remove your name or booked courts from this system. However if you do not wish to use the system or have your name displayed on it you can request full removal.
(iv)The online booking system data is also viewable on a console in the reception area. Access to this console is by club members only using their designated key fob.
(3) Details of club members are also on public display in a paper folder in the club's reception area. There are two lists. One for members' home and mobile phone numbers and another for members' home addresses. You may ask for your details to be removed from these lists via the club office here
(4) New Members:
On completing the application form new members may denote whether
they wish to opt out of their data being displayed on the above. They may also choose whether they wish to receive East Glos E:News.
Leagues and Ladders
(1) If you have entered any of our squash or tennis ladders
the phone number you provide will be displayed on the relevant ladder on the notice board. This is to enable easy communication between players.
(2) If you have provided your email address for use on the ladders this will also be displayed. You may ask for this to be removed via the club office here.
(3) The leagues and ladders are also available on the members only secure website and the data which is on the notice board versions is replicated online.
E:News subscribers
(1) E:News is the club's weekly email newsletter. If you have subscribed to E:News we capture and store your
personal information solely for the purpose of sending you E:News. We do not pass any of your personal data to outside
organisations or individuals.
(2) Subscribers may unsubscribe instantly using a link provided in each email.
Members Only website
(1) Access is by registration only and open to club members only. On registration your details are validated by the club office. We require your contact phone number and post code on registration as part of this validation process and also to enable the password reminder service.
Your details are stored in a database accessible only to designated club personnel. Your password is not visible to club personnel.
Website
(1) The club's website
does not send cookies and we only monitor IP addresses to assess which
pages are popular. These IP addresses are not linked to any personal data
so that visitors accessing the website remain anonymous.
Data Protection
(1) You
have the right to know about the personal information we hold about
you. You also have a right to have your data corrected or deleted. You
can contact our office here
to address all your requests and queries about our data protection policy.
