East Glos juniors on the road to Wimbledon
East Glos juniors Seth Price, Aaron Osmond and Alice Findlay have been busy preparing for the Road to Wimbledon International which starts next Monday, 10th August, having qualified from the South West Region.
The HSBC Road to Wimbledon, which features 20,000 juniors from over 750 clubs and schools, is in three stages and encourages boys and girls of all standards to play and enjoy competitive tennis.
The National Finals are held at Wimbledon, where the 44 County Finals winners and 20 runners-up qualify to play singles and doubles on the world famous grass courts.
Seth and Aaron will play against the other 26 regional qualifiers along with the top four boys from India.
Alice qualified by winning the Gloucestershire finals and will be competing against other county winners at the competition.
Both Alice and Seth follow in the footsteps of older East Glos siblings who have previously completed in the finals.
