East Glos seeks Ladies Hockey Coach
East Glos Women’s Hockey Club in Cheltenham is looking for a coach for the 1st XI team.
We are a friendly, vibrant club with one senior team and a large, potential filled junior section looking to develop and progress into a higher league. The job will be for the upcoming 2016/2017 season but potentially further.
We are looking for a coach for our Wednesday night Senior session at Dean Close School from 6.30 – 8pm. Ideally we would like the coach to be available for our Saturday matches where possible.
Our home pitch is at St Edward’s School, Charlton Kings. We require the coach to be Level 2 qualified and suitably experienced.
We had a fun but slightly disappointing season in Severn Division 1 of the Western Counties League. We finished second so are very capable of going one better and pushing for promotion next season.
As we have such a large junior section we like to nurture and encourage these younger players and give them opportunities to play in the senior team. We are looking for someone who can do this whilst also coach to the highest standard.
