Sports equipment retailer provides generous donation to Gloucestershire community tennis

Wrexham-based Networld Sports is supporting grassroots tennis in Gloucestershire by donating £300 worth of tennis kit to the Coaching in the Park community tennis programme.

The main aim of the programme is to get more people into tennis while making it affordable and accessible. The programme is delivered by East Glos Club in Pitville and Montpellier Parks to up to 600 adults and children every month. The kit which has been donated includes rackets, balls and other coaching aids.

Networld Sports was founded in 2009 by Alex Loven. As a leading international sports equipment retailer, the company has a 5,000-strong product range. Their dedicated tennis brand ‘Vermont’ provides unrivalled, professional tennis equipment for all.

Eva McMillan, Marketing Executive from Networld Sports, said, “We are so glad to support East Glos by providing a range of tennis products to the community programme. We can’t wait to see how the players get on with the balls, rackets and training equipment that has been provided!”

Rob NegusRob Negus (pictured), who has recently been appointed as community tennis coach, said, “Receiving the donation from Networld Sports will make a huge difference to the services that we can provide to members of the community.

“The coaching programme continues to grow, and this donation allows us to provide our participants with high-quality equipment as we promote the great sport of tennis”.
