Mini & Junior Tennis Performance Academy
Based in Cheltenham, the East Glos Performance Academy provides a high intensity training environment for players who are aspiring to reach county, regional and national level.
Excellence, work ethic and determination are essential in all areas, both on and off the court. The performance programme caters for players from the 4 to 18 years of age.
Players on the academy will be expected to represent East Glos in team events and will be ambassadors for the club both on and off court.
Subsidised coaching costs
As a reward and recognition for the commitment required to play at this level, the club have subsidised the cost of coaching on the programme. In addition to this, we have also put into place the following reward structure:
- 1 squad: Full price
- 2 squads: 15% off the second squad
- 3 squads: 15% off the second & 20% off the third squad
How to join the East Glos Performance Academy
Players are invited onto the programme at the coaches’ discretion, where factors such as athleticism, coordination, attitude, rating andranking will be considered. All players on the programme are required to have a BTM, LTA rating and need to be committed to playing in regular competitions.
