The East Glos Open Doubles Squash Tournament takes place on the weekend of 6th & 7th June 2015.
Now in its second year, the pro-am tournament was resurrected after a long absence by 21-year old squash pro and East Glos Club member Tom Ford (pictured right).
Included in this year’s line-up are Tom Richards, current world number 31, former world number two Peter Marshall and former world number three Simon Parke.
Ford who has a current world ranking of 81, says of the pro-am event “This is a really good way of bringing everyone together regardless of their standard to have a good time and enjoy playing squash. I’m delighted to have a line up which includes so many current and former world ranked players”.
Also taking part are Gloucestershire’s Robbie Temple with a highest world ranking of 53. And Welshman Alex Gough, ex world number five.
The tournament is being held at East Glos Club in Old Bath Road, Cheltenham and spectators are very welcome to attend.
