East Glos appoints Steve Wigg as operations manager
We’re pleased to announce that Steve Wigg has been appointed to the newly-created position of operations manager.
Steve, who started his new role on 8th April 2024, joins us from Oxstalls Sports Park, where he held various roles, including tennis coach, tennis development manager, and, most recently, tennis operations manager. His responsibilities included running the tennis centre, the University of Gloucestershire sports arena, 3G pitches, and the cricket pavilion.
In his new East Glos role Steve will be responsible for the efficient functioning of all aspects of the club’s operations, working alongside other heads of departments to ensure a high-quality service to members, visitors and guests.
Steve says, “Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my wife Becky and two young daughters, Immy and Evie, and playing a bit of golf if I’m allowed. Hopefully, in time, I’ll get on court for the racket sports here at the club, too.
“I look forward to meeting all the members, players, and families over the coming weeks”.
