Public Hearts launches subsidised heart screening for East Glos members aged 14 to 35

To celebrate five years of not-for-profit community work, including installing 72 publicly accessible defibrillators in and around Cheltenham, Public Hearts Defibrillator Campaign launches a heart screening program for young people.

Public Hearts logoEach week in the UK, 12 young people aged between 14 and 35 die from sudden cardiac arrest. The only way to diagnose congenital heart defects or genetic abnormalities in the heart’s electrical system and structure is through ECG and ECHO screening.
